If we don't talk , sing , teach or preach Jesus why are we in the church, Baptists, Pentecostals, Presbyterian, Lutheran , Jesus should be the center of our worship no matter our differences

I have been to Benny Crusades and I have been to Morris Cerullo Crusade. Both of these two evangelist only allowed people on stage who were healed. If a person has not experienced healing in the service why would that person need to go on stage.

This is a great commentary. I've only been around the Charismatic world physically for about 6 years. I've seen basically all of those things at this point. I have to imagine that many churches avoid testimony time based on these issues. Idk how many times our pastor has asked people to testify if they were healed after healing prayer, and they start talking about whats wrong with them and how they've been struggling and nothing about receiving healing.

I don’t think winger was complaining that people got on stage who “shouldn’t” have I think that’s the whole point why are people being sought after who are already supposedly healed to be prayed for healing again in front of everyone? Shouldn’t they be looking for people who aren’t healed so they can get another chance or get direct praying from the anointed healer? Man I’m not a huge winger fan, I’m certainly no fan of Calvinism and a lot of their nasty cold hearted leaders but if charismatics don’t get their stuff together they’re going to make Calvinists look like hero’s and they’re going to go from Benny Hinn charging them for blessings and healings to James White telling them Gods glorified by their children being predestined for hellfire. People pick weird theological hills to die on and this doesn’t feel like what God wanted the church to be.

As someone whos ushered at a few Benny Hinn crusades Im aware of why he does it this way. One is to mitigate people getting on stage who actually fake their healing to try and make Benny look fake, which has happened before. Two because people will try to force their way on stage to get prayed for who arent. One woman in a walker tried to do that and the ushers wouldnt let her. She sued the ministry over it claiming they took the woman outside and slammed her to the ground and threw her walker on her. Didnt happen.

I think it is sad that people want to be told which ministries to follow instead of studying their Bible and judging ministries for themselves. I notice a lot of people just absorbing what Mike Winger says without critical thinking because Winger is biased by his own theology which is Cessationism versus Continuationism. Never the twain shall meet.

I was like this guy at first, until the Holy Spirit got a hold of me. One time someone was getting prayed over, the Holy Spirit touched me instead, talk about drunk in the Spirit, I was shaking from head to foot, couldn’t stand up properly and laughing. It was the most beautiful thing I’d ever experienced. Praise the Lord 🕊️🕊️ I pray this man has a Holy Spirit encounter. 🙏🕊️

The problem is that people are lazy too think. Sometimes it's a hard work, it can take a long time to meditate on a subject and takes effort to correct your thinking, or think outside the box.

About the Wailing Wall comment at 06:58 -- many "ministries" have offered to place their supporter's prayer needs IN THE WALL ON A PIECE OF PAPER AS JEWS DO EVERYDAY. Numerous videos show this to be a common practice. "Engraving" shows your lack of knowledge. "Jews and Greeks" indeed.

I like Mike. But I have noticed lately that where he comes from (calvary chapel doctrine) he is already flawed. When ur origins come from a background that poo poos walking in gifts today, u will attack anything that suggests u can have from God what you seek, by faith.

Wow that's baloney. I've been in some legalistic Baptist Churches where they talk about the ten commandments and good works and everything else but glorifying Jesus for what he's done for us. I've also been in a church where they caught a man stealing from the offering. So does that mean that all Churches get offerings stolen or that all Baptist churches are legalistic? The statement by this man is childish to say all charismatics don't talk about Jesus,it is lies.

I've been in five charismatic/Pentecostal churches n the past 50 years. I also listen several charismatic Bible teachers online. I've never seen or heard an absence of Christ in my experience, in fact the opposite.

Great interview. To be fair, Mike Winger has been rather gracious at times to Charismatics even calling Joel Osteen and Bill Johnson Brothers. So, He is not totally against Charistmatics like someone such as Justin Peter's. Examples of people on UA-cam who are Charismatics but also use discernment where needed are people such as Abendego Lufile, Torn Curtain and a few others. Even Dr Brown is Charismatic and has a strong focus on the word and the Spirit. We need both. I think so many of these discernment channels are quick to call someone a heretic without really researching their doctrines, what they believe. They just play a few second clips from a lot of these people without even really giving any context.

I have been serving Pentecostal/charismatic church for nearly 30 years. Jesus has always been at the center of it all. The exception of the rule does not defined the majority.

I read The Vision recently, and 90% of it was DEAD WRONG, even given 50 years for disasters to happen. Wilkerson preached false panic, then preached God as the answer to panic. He was an anxiety-ridden Chicken Little, not a prophet. I’m an ex-charismatic due to the lack of accountability for false prophecy that I saw from the start. This includes Wilkerson. God is not in the business of FALSE.
